I though some of you who come to my website regularly, or whom I've met at reenactments might like to know a little more about me, so here it is, a little link to myself.
I grew up just outside of Honesdale, PA, and moved to Gettysburg the summer before my sophomore year of high school. Currently, I am a 21 year Junior history major at Gettysburg College, where I spend most of my time during the school year, studying and researching both for class and my own benefit. I'm in the process of learning German and just returned home from studying abroad. I work weekends at the National Park Visitor Center and I also work some evenings and at events with Abraham's Lady on Steinwehr Avenue, where I fancy myself to be a fair fashion historian.
Recreationally, I enjoy sewing, researching pretty much anything history related and trying to find time to keep this website running. You'll often find me online doing research or just amusing myself; I also reenact when I have the time and resources, currently as Eliza Wilson of the 5th Wisconsin. Outside of history I enjoy jogging and walking (on the battlefield, of course) as well as reading and watching horror and fantasy books and movies, vampires being a personal favorite.
As you can see, I'm a rather eclectic person, I try to know a little about everything and encourage others to do the same, as it enhances conversation when one can speak intelligently.
